OREANDA-NEWS. February 06, 2007. In 2007, UkrSibbank acquired about 2 thousand medium-sized enterprises, thus increasing the clientele pertaining to this business segment up to 6 thousand. Hence, the relevant market share of the Bank makes up 10%, reported the press-centre of UkrSibbank.

“Within UkrSibbank medium-sized business is represented by legal entities with annual proceeds of UAH 2 to 40 mln. According to our estimation, at present there are nearly 60-65 thousand companies in Ukraine that may be allocated to this segment. In 2008, we are planning to expand our portfolio of medium business clients by 1,5 times and make their number equal to 8,5-9 thousand. Service quality, improved lending conditions, long-term investment finance of major projects are going to be the main advantages of the Bank”, - said Vladlen Dyedkov, Head of SME Department of JSCIB “UkrSibbank”.

Medium business in Ukraine accounts for employment of somewhat 3-3,5 mln people. On the average, one company provides working places for 50-100 employees. Industrial composition of the segment in Ukraine mostly resembles the one represented in “UkrSibbank”: trade – 30-40%, service sector – 8-9%, construction – 7-8%.
