Net Profit of KEGOC in 2007 Increased by 21%
OREANDA-NEWS. On 1 February 2008 the Head of JSC "Kazakh Holding for State Assets Management "Samruk" Kanat Bozunbayev informed, that Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company "KEGOC" JSC by the results of 2007 realized 991 million KZT (current 120.22/$1) of net profit.
"Total profit for year is 991 million KZT, increase for 21%", - K.Bozumbayev said on Thursday at the meeting of "Samruk" Holding in Astana.
According to his words, last year the national company provided an increase of services on power transmission for 2%, on dispatching - for 6%. "Capital investments for 12 milliard KZT were used, that is more for 69% than last year", - K.Bozumbayev added.
100% shares of "KEGOC" JSC is state owned, the national company is a member of "Samruk" Holding. The Company property complex includes high voltage transmission lines from 110kV to 1150kV and the master substations providing interstate power flows, power delivery from the public service power stations, communication between the regional power network companies and the large consumers forming the national power grid also a central dispatch control.
