JSC IDGC of Center Passes QMS Inspection Audit
OREANDA-NEWS. On 1 February 2008 was announced, that scheduled inspection audit of the certificated quality management system (QMS) had been held in JSC IDGC of Center by BSI certification body (the British Standard Institute).
The purpose of audit is acknowledgement of conformity of the quality management system of the Company with requirements of standard ISO 9001:2000 in view of positions of standard ISO 10006:2003 Project Management. JSC IDGC of Center has received the certificate of QMS conformity with requirements of ISO 9001:2000 International Standard in August 2007 and now, within the limits of attestation, it has passed the inspection audit.
Leading Auditor of BSI has checked up productivity of the quality management system. The area of check included basic procedures of QMS and business processes of the company:
- Business process "Study and Analysis of Consumers Needs’".
- Business process "Information Communication Support of the Central Body by Systems of Technological Management and IT Infrastructure".
- Business process "Personnel Management".
- Business process "Capital Construction Management".
- Business process "Economic Safety Management".
The audit as a whole confirmed productivity of the processes checked up. Within its limits, 7 insignificant discrepancies were revealed which demand paying attention to them. Thus, it is necessary to note that insignificant discrepancies are related to a separately revealed deviation and do not prejudice ability of QMS to operate the corresponding processes effectively. According to the results of audit, the plan of correcting actions and the program of improvements of the quality management system were developed.
'Introduction and support of QMS logically resulted from the development of electricity network complex of IDGC-1', Evgeny Makarov noted. 'Formation of the uniform operational company with a high potential of growth of capitalization and integrated hi-tech management system, realization of client oriented approach, maintenance of efficiency of the primary business at the level of the best world experience: for realization of these purposes it is necessary to accept the whole complex of measures on meeting by the administrative structure of the international standards'.
DGCs of the Company also are finishing the projects of QMS introduction. ‘There is no doubt that termination of realization of these projects is a starting point of work of QMS introduced', Dmitry Alyoshin, Director for Organizational Development of the Company commented. 'Probably, now it is early to speak about the first results because the system only starts functioning in the companies which are ordering the certain procedures and processes. Therefore, we shall receive the first results of its realization by the end of 2008 when the involvement of the basic personnel of the company in QMS functioning. And construction of QMS will allow to make business processes of the company more transparent and operated.
The following task for JSC IDGC of the Center is realization of projects on introduction of the integrated system of management on the basis of standards ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, realization of projects on automation of controlling business processes with use of high technologies (ARIS PPM), and also creation of QMS of the uniform operational company.
