OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 January 2008 RF State Duma delegate, the first Deputy Head of “Edinaya Rossia” Arthur Chilingarov visited Sevmash.

In December 2007 Arthur Chilingarov was elected to be State Duma delegate from Arkhanglesk region and Nenets Autonomous Area. During meeting with Sevmash shipbuilders Chilingarov noticed strategic purpose of enterprise and promised to pay special attention to shipbuilders’ problems: “I have decided that my assistant will work in Severodvinsk”.

Today the most essential problem for shipbuilders is the problem of obtaining state support. It will enable to increase salary and therefore to solve personnel problem. To execute production program on state order we are lack of workers of main shipbuilding professions: welders, fitters, erectors, pipeliners. To attract nonresident workers one need accommodation. Enterprise is lack of proper funds to solve this problem, so federal target support is required. All these issues were given to Arthur Chilingarov in a written form for consideration on RF State Duma meetings.

At the end of the meeting FSUE “PO “Sevmash” Acting Director General Mikhail Budnichenko congratulated well-known polar explorer with order Hero of Russia and gave symbolic present– model of nuclear submarine with memorable inscription.
