OREANDA-NEWS. January 30, 2007. The Finance Ministry is planning to sell at least UAH 300 mln worth of public bonds monthly during the first quarter of the current year, the Ministry's statement says, reported the Official website http://www.kmu.gov.ua.

The sales will be held every Monday and every other Thursday throughout 2008.

The Ministry is planning to carry on additional sales of bonds until one of the series' aggregate reaches UAH 1 bn.

The state budget for 2008 foresees issuance of public bonds to the tune of UAH 7,776,000,000.

The Finance Ministry has sold a total UAH 189,094,000 worth of bonds since the start of 2008.

The bond sales yielded UAH 3,973,000,000 in 2007and UAH 1,598,000,000 in 2006.
