OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 January 2008 the meeting of representatives of Federal Agency for Management of Special Economic Zones with delegation Republic of Singapor was held

Following persons took part at the meeting: Deputy Head of RusSE A. Overchuk, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Activity A. Karpich etc.

The delegation of Republic of Singapore was headed by the Deputy Minister of trade and the industries the Mr. Ng Hough Yu. The delegation also included the ambassador of Republic of Singapore in the Russian Federation the Mr Michael Tej, the Director of the Department on Europe and Central Asia of Ministry of Trade and Industry mrs Ng Bi Kims etc..

Within frameworks of the meeting A. Overchuk presented SEZ development in Russia, demonstrated the film on SEZ of tourist-and-recreational type.

Within the frameworks of negotiations the problems of conduction of third Russian-Singaporean business forum were discussed, as well as session incorporated manager committee of special economic zones.

The parts agreed to continue consultations on the matters of common interest.
