Uzbektelecom Conducts Trainig for Directors
OREANDA-NEWS. On January 21-26, 2007 the subsidiary “Engineer & Technical Center” of JSC “Uzbektelecom” conducted a training for directors of subsidiaries of JSC “Uzbektelecom”, reported the press-centre of Uzbektelecom.
On 21 January, 2008 the General Director of JSC “Uzbektelecom” Khakim Asrorovich Mukhitdinov welcomed the first group of specialists and noted that training and enhancement of qualification, re-training of specialists and first of all the representatives of management of the company has been one of actual tasks. The “Engineer & Technical Center” was launched in 2003 aimed at solving these goals.
The program of training courses is too rich and varied. On the first day the directors of subsidiaries were familiarized with requirements to introduction, certification related issues as well as with a role of directors in the system of quality management according to ISO 9001 standard.
On 22-24 January the representatives of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd conducted the following presentations:
• “Value-added services" as a reserve to increase a profitability of operators
• “Modern trends in development of optical transport networks”
• “Mobile services for fixed network operators using WLL technology”
• “Wi-MAX technology is a future of broadband access”
• “Transition to IP technology is a way to increase a profitability and network possibilities of operators”.
Representatives of ZTE Corporation addressed the following reports during 24-26 January, 2008:
• “Convergence of mobile and fixed networks is a future of telecommunications”
• “IPTV+Tripple Play technology”
In addition there will be some economic lectures:
Sales management for telecommunication services. Process of sales management in the system of selling. Sales management for corporate clients. Sales management for private persons. Planning of work for sales managers.
Training courses also include lectures related to other aspects of activity: “Psychological aspects in personnel management”, “Disputes solution related issues”, “Modern technologies in personnel management” and many others.
Such training courses are conducted annually. Training is conducted in the form of exchange of opinions just in the course of lectures in order to allow each director of subsidiary to ask questions on activity of his subsidiary.
It should be noted that the “Engineer & Technical Center” is excellently equipped. This center has modern digital switching facilities, systems of transmission and computer techniques. So called “computer based on-line” training technologies have become the latest feature in training process when each trainee is able to see the information presented by the lecturer on its personal notebook while management is being implemented through wireless data network.
It should also be mentioned that a training course called “Technology and a base for telecommunication network management” was organized by the “Engineer & Technical Center” on 16-23 January, 2008.
On 4 - 12 of January 2008 a training course “Foundation for construction and operation of fiber-optical lines” was conducted by the “Engineer & Technical Center”, and from 7 to 18 January, 2008 a training course “Training for officials of city and regional communication offices” was conducted in that center.
