OREANDA-NEWS. On January 25, 2007 in the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan was held the next session of Board under the presidency of Director General of CIA UZ Mr. A.Aripov, reported the press-centre of Communications and Information Agency.

In session of Board took part the Heads of CIA departments, Joint-stock companies, enterprises and organizations of communication and information sphere.

The Board considered the problem on condition and perfection of information resources of state administration and management bodies.

On the given question there was presented the report of Mr. D.Rahimov - Director of Center "UZINFOCOM". He presented the results of work on conducting the uniform system of state registration and registration of information resources created under the governmental decision for satisfaction of growing information needs of citizens, as well as for simplification of information search among a set of information resources.

Within 2007 from the various organizations were received 33 additional applications for inclusion into the basic list of state register consisting of 57 items of information resources.

In the report were mentioned the questions of activization of work on conclusion of state information resources (SIR) to online access as so nowadays only a small quantity of registered SIR are accessible through public networks.

As well as were discussed the questions of regulatory framework perfection regarding definition of status of state databases, protection of personal information.

According to the monitoring results of sites of the state bodies for 2007 availability of sites of state bodies increased up to 6,5% and makes 90,2%.

However, in spite of certain improvement of situation, it was noted that it is necessary to share more attention to this issue.

With a view of efficiency increase and interoperation of all enterprises of CIA UZ there was noted the necessity of acceleration of introduction of whole sector system of business-processes automation and consolidation of data.

On results of discussed questions the Board made the corresponding decisions.
