OREANDA-NEWS.  January 30, 2008.   New staffing table come into operation in OJSC “Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation” from January, 1 2008. The main changes take place in Reinsurance department. However they are connected with the growth of skills of the underwriters, which have already been working in the company, and with their promotion.

A new position of Main Underwriter is added, which has taken up Alexander Milakhin. He has been working in the company for 8 years, started as Underwriter, then he became Chief underwriter. In 2007 Alexander defended thesis in insurance.

Within Alexander Milakhin’s duties come supervision and coordination of underwriter’s activity (independently of office’s location), as well as of all specialists in Reinsurance department. By the way he will be engaged in organization of protection of reinsurance portfolio “Transsib Re”, and evaluation activity results of the Corporation’s departments of underwriters. Development, control of creation and rolling-out of United automatic system of facultative risk’s survey and quotation are also settled on him.

In the office of Chief underwriter were installed Underwriter of European bureau Andrey Y. Chibikov, who came in the Company 2 years ago, and Underwriter from North-Western bureau Svetkana B. Ovechkina, who has been working here since 2001.

As before as Chief Underwriter work Vadim R. Shambazov, from Central office, and Tim Ocwell, from International bureau.

Total amount of the specialists, who have letters of attorney for reinsurance risks acceptance, is 14. Total amount of staff members working at 5 offices of “Transsib Re”, including operating staff, is 60.
