OREANDA-NEWS.  On 30 January 2008 communications engineers of all the Russian nuclear power plants and representatives of the Software/Hardware and Telecoms Department of Rosenergoatom Concern have met at Kola Nuclear Power Plant so as to discuss their work to improve the emergency response system at the REA NPPs.

The choice of the venue was not a mere coincidence: Kola NPP has always been among the leaders in the field of communications.

The conferees are discussing the results of their work in 2007 and plans for 2008.
