At Closed Company "Lankaran regional power supply" the structure of which includes distributive electric systems of Lankaran, Masalli, Astara, Yardimli and Lerik regions, within past year has been consumed more than 327 million KVt/h of electric power, including household subscribers (population) more than 210 million KVt/h of electric power.

And in 2006 has been consumed about 537 million KVt/h of electric power. On it to press-service of joint-stock company "Azerenerji" has informed director of enterprise Shirin Guliyev. He has noted, that in comparison with 2006 has been saved more than 230 million KVt/h of electric power. These high parameters have been reached as a result of universal installation of electric meters. On December, 2007 at Lankaran RPS has been used more than 17 million KVt/h of electric power, and it is in comparison with the similar period of 2006 less to 26 million KVt/h. According to director of enterprise for improvement of power supply was carried out a number of corresponding actions. Transmission lines have been replaced, at some sites of PSL have been replaced "SIP" cables, 34 units of new transformers of different capacity are being established, wooden supports are being replaced by iron-concrete supports. Informing on payment for used electric power, he has noted, that in this direction is observed the tendency to improvement. So, on December of last year the payment has made about 75%. Within similar period of 2006 this figure has made 40%. Let us note, that in comparison with 2006 (31%) in 2007 (51%) the payment for used electric power has raised to 20%.
