OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 January 2008 it was announced that a leading Kazakhstan Exhibition Company Iteca, which is a partner of the International exhibition company ITE Group Plc in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries, has conducted in 2007 38 exhibitions and 4 conferences
The events were conducted in six cities: Aktau, Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Bishkek and Karaganda. The topics of exhibitions and conferences traditionally covered all industries of economy. The number of exhibitors in 2007 has been increased up to 5,788 companies from 62 countries of the world, about 1,500 delegates participated in the conferences. A total exhibition area (gross) was 126,839 square meters.

2007 was marked by first nights of two projects: construction exhibitions "MangystauBuild" and "KaragandaBuild" in Aktau and Karaganda accordingly.

In 2008 Iteca plans to conduct in Kazakhstan three more new events – the exhibition and conference in Almaty on the topic “Water and Water Technologies” - "WaterTech Central Asia" (September16- September) and a tourist exhibition in Aktau "Aktau Leisure" (October 8-October 10). Yuriy Borodikhin, an Executive Director of the company points out, “I may state with a full responsibility – today the concepts of our exhibitions are up-to-date and attractive – both for exhibitors and visitors.
