Russian Machines Appoints New Business Director
OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 January 2008 N.Kovalev was appointed the director for military-industrial business at Russian Machines, the company informed.
He is charged to provide control over the development of the modern line of cars and armored facilities made at the entities included into Russian Machines and development of new samples for enforcing structures. One of the most important targets is the formation of the servicing system and efficient system of private-state partnership.
Russian Machines is a diversified engineering holding covering industrial and engineering assets in automobile making, railway and aircraft engineering, road building machines.
The total 2006-sales gained $5bn. The key assets involve GAZ, Aviakor, RKTM, Abakanvagonmash, RM-Sistema, the stake in Magna International Inc.
In 2006 the condolidated revenues reached $5bn, EBITDA - $550mln; assets are worth $2.5bn.
Military-Industrial Company is a coordinator of the works in the development, production, repair and sale of products at Arzamassky Engineering Plant, Hulls Plant and Barnaultransmash.
The assortment covers 80 products. The major consumers involve the state structures and Rosoboronexport.
