OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2008. Year 2007 was uneasy for Northwest IDGC - there was a formation of the company, its team, it was necessary to solve uneasy problems. But many of them were possible to solve.
Last year in regions of Northwest 400 МWA of capacities were input. It is more than the Pskov area consumes. Nearby 1 thousand km of transmission lines were constructed. For comparison - length of networks in Murmansk area is nearby 6 thousand km.

JSC IDGC of the North-West is in number of pilot projects on transition to activity as the operational company. The extraordinary general meetings of shareholders Arkhenergo, Vologdaenergo, Karelenergo, Komienergo, Kolenergo, Novgorodenergo, Pskovenergo took place. The majority of shareholders voted for reorganization in the form of connection to Northwest IDGC.

Since the 1-st of April, 2008 we will become one of the largest companies in the Northwest. It will be difficult to work on management of the distributive network complex of the region: it is the uniform technical policy and economic planning, management of financial flows, foundation of a new direction of our activity – service centers, and many other things.

But the overall objective of our work is the same - reliable and uninterrupted electricity supply of consumers of regions of Russia Northwest.
