Agrarian Ministry of Ukraine Wants to Increase Quota for Grain Export
OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2007. The Agrarian Policy Ministry seeks upped quota for grain export from 1,2 M. tons to 3,7 M. tons, Agrarian Policy Minister Yuriy Melnyk said, reported the Official website of www.kmu.gov.ua.
He noted the Agrarian Policy Ministry is currently negotiating with the Economy Ministry on this issue.
The Cabinet of Ministers will consider the issue on January 30 through February 6.
In September the Cabinet of Ministers passed a resolution to limit grin export to 1,2 M. tons to be enacted on November 1, 2007 and last to March 31, 2007.
The date was delayed to December 31, 2007 later.
