OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2007. Ukraine is interested in increased US investments, Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn told a meeting with a US delegation, headed by US States representative of commercial and business affairs Frank Mermoud, the Economy Ministry's press service told.

USA is world's second leading investor after Germany into Ukraine's economy.

As of October 1, 2007, as many as 1,42 bn USD of US investments have been attracted into Ukraine's economy, which 5,3% of the general investment.

As many as 1,391 joint Ukrainian-US companies run in Ukraine.
