IZ-Kartex Expands its Order Portfolio for 2008
OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2008. IZ-Kartex, a part of OMZ (RTS: OMZZ; LSE: OMZD; OTC: UHMVY), announced today a significant expansion of its portfolio of orders for 2008. The company has concluded a number of agreements to supply mining shovels to Russian, Ukrainian and Vietnamese mining companies. The total value of the agreements concluded in November and December 2007 is more than RUR1.5 billion.
IZ-Kartex plans to produce and ship 37 mining shovels to Mikhailovsky Iron Ore Mining and Processing Plant (MGOK), Lebedinsky Mining and Processing Plant (LGOK), ALROSA, Razrez Kiselevsky OJSC, Siberian Anthracite CJSC, Severny GOK (Ukraine), Eurasian Energy Corporation, Vietnam Coal Corporation. The company will also supply big sets of spare parts for EKG-type shovels to LGOK and Kachkanarsky Mining and Processing Plant (KGOK). This is the biggest IZ-Kartex sales portfolio of the past 15 years.
