Transaero’s letter of support for the UN Global Compact, signed by Transaero Airlines General Director Olga Pleshakova, and sent to UN Secretary-General Mr. Ban Ki-moon was delivered to Georg Kell, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Office who welcomed Transaero to the organization.
“Participation in the UN Global Compact represents an important confirmation of Transaero’s dedication to the principles of openness, human dignity and transparency and underscores our dedication to international standards of social responsibility in business,” says Olga Pleshakova.
The Global Compact was initiated by the UN in 1999.
