OREANDA-NEWS. January 24, 2008. Bigger part of these lines and transformer stations transferred to balance of the Network company of the energy holding from utility organizations of the Republic and their condition was bad. In total in 2007 the power engineering specialists installed on the territory of schools, kindergartens and other general educational establishments the new 1,489 poles. The repair was done of transformer substations. The territory was cleaned from the old trees. Were replaced about 4 km of aerial lines 6-10 kV. Over 60 km of bare electricity transmission lines 0.4 kV were replaced with aerial lines with self-carrying insulated cables. They are safe and will not damage people if fall down or hang loose as there will be no short circuit. Were updated the cables on the territory of the school. Also was done big volume of works related to bringing the electricity lines from territory of educational establishments, children and sports sites.

In Apastovo region, e.g. the electricity supply was upgraded in proximity of the secondary schools of such big villages as Murzino and Deushevo, and on the territory of Bagishevo primary school. In Arsk region the aerial lines were updated on the territory of seven schools. In Aznakaevo the bare lines were replaced with with self-carrying insulated cables near the school №4, in school №5 the aerial line was replaced with underground cable. In Tetyushi town was totally upgraded the electricity supply to educational college. Most networks were upgraded in the responsibility area of Yelabuga and Chistopol grids - 16.3 and 12,5 km respectively.

In 2007 the specialists of JSC "Grid Company" made actions for protection of children from electro-traumatism. In summer vacations at each object of network business were conducted the prevention inspections and protection of power objects from outside people and availability of safety signs. With population, especially, children is done then extensive explanatory work about the rules of electrical equipment treatment, danger of electrical current shock. This work is done as part of special program, adopted in 2006 in JSC "Tatenergo" together with Ministry of Education an Science of Republic of Tatarstan . Major task of the project – to teach the children the skills of safe behavior near the electrical installations, improve their adapting to power saturated environment in places of residence and schooling, to teach them the rules of safety when using the household electrical devices.

To these aims the power engineering specialists prepare and expand the information materials, specially organize the meeting with the teachers, parents and various profession specialists. On Internet portal of Tatenergo was opened special division "Recommendations for Safety". During the school vacations at Republicаn TV channel "Tatarstan - New Age" were shown the videos about the rules of behavior near electro-installations. By the training year was done the present for schoolchildren – was issued the collection of stories and verses about electrical safety under the title "His Excellency Electricity".

As part of program of prevention of children electro-traumatism the power engineering specialists in 2007 held the holidays "Safe Vacations" in 53 residential areas of Republic of Tatarstan . This project on results of National competition of corporate resources "Silver Threads - 2007" was named the best special project in corporate communications.
