OREANDA-NEWS. January 24, 2008. JSC "Belarussian Industrial Bank" has summed up the preliminary results of its activity in 2007. Bank’s balance profit for 2007 totaled to 3.2 billion Belarusian rubles. Currency of the Bank’s balance as at 01.01.2008 totaled to 116.6 billion Belarusian rubles, having increased in comparison with the analogous date of the previous year for 29.2 %. Normative capital increased by 22.6% and totaled to 28.4 billion Belarusian rubles (or 9.0 million Euro), including authorized capital has increased in more than 2 times and totaled to 16.0 billion Belarusian rubles (or 5.1 million Euro). As at 01.01.2008 the adequacy of normative capital and adequacy of principal capital comprised accordingly 31.5% and 19.1% that is 4 times more than minimum permissible level fixed by the National bank of the Republic of Belarus for commercial banks. Attracted funds as of January 1, 2008 amounted to 64.2 billion Belarusian rubles. Growth for the year is 19.3%. Balances on customers’ current accounts reached 35.6 billion Belarusian rubles, having increased during the year by 32.1%; legal entities’ deposits increased from the beginning of the year by 55.0% up to 13.5 billion Belarusian rubles. Bank’s net assets volume amounted to 92.8 billion Belarusian rubles. Growth from the beginning of the year is 17.9%. As at 01.01.2008 share of income-producing assets comprised 69.0% of total net assets volume. Main part of assets is comprised by credits to legal entities and individuals (50.0 %), funds with the banks (17.8%). Professional evaluation of credit risks ensured high quality of assets - share of bad assets as at 01.01.2008 comprised 0.1% of credit portfolio to the customers.

Bank performs all the norms of safe functioning established by the National bank of the Republic of Belarus for banks and non-banking financial institutions.

Bank draws sufficient attention to the issues of expansion of its presence in the capital city and in the regions, to the construction of own buildings for branches. In the year 2007 Bank’s branches in Grodno, Mogilev and Vitebsk moved to the new buildings. At present the building for the branch in Gomel is under construction, and in the big business-center in Minsk two new offices of banking services are getting prepared for accepting employees.
