OREANDA-NEWS. On January 20, 2007 a ceremony commemorating memory of January 20, 1990 martyrs was held in the National Bank, reported the press-centre of National Bank.

The ceremony opened with introducsion remarks of the Chairman of the Management Board of the NBA Elman Rustamov.

He noted that January 20 remembered as struggle for freedom and indipendence of Azerbaijani people, besides engraved to the Azerbaijan history and to the memory of Azerbaijani people as sanguinary tragedy.

In the ceremony dedicated to the 18th anniversary of Sanguinary January tragedy, first deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the NBA Alim Guliyev made a large statement.
