Uzbek Ipoteka Bank's Total Capital Grows 37.4 bln Soums over 2007
OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2008. The total capital of the Ipoteka Bank State Joint-Stock Innovative Bank made up 59.7 billion soums as of 1 January 2008, thereby indicating a growth of 37.4 billion soums over the year 2007, Uzreport informs with reference to the bank's press service. The size of the bank's equity capital has reached 25.8 billion soums.
The bank's assets grew by 16.9% in 2007 to 517.9 billion soums. The bank's lending portfolio makes up 262.5 billion soums, having grown by 98.2 billion soums since the beginning of the year.
Last year the bank continued to accept the population's idle funds attracting them through new deposit plans. Thereby the bank's deposit base has reached 348.2 billion soums, including deposits and funds of individuals in the amount of 69.3 billion soums.
Today, the total number of the bank's shareholders exceeds 15,200 individuals and corporate entities, and the number of the bank's corporate clients exceeds 57,500 legal entities.
