Russian Tractor-Builders Receives High Marks from Government
OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2007. Vice-premiers of the Russian Government Sergey Ivanov within the framework of his visit of Chuvash republic with the official delegation composed of the President of Chuvashia Nicolay Fyodorov, authorized representative of the Russian president in Privolzhsky federal district Aleksandr Konovalov, and also representatives of the federal ministries, visited leading enterprises of the “Concern Tractor plants”: “Promtractor” JSC and “Promlit” LLC, reported the press-centre of Concern “Tractor plants”.
According to Sergey Ivanov, in Cheboksary is situated one of the largest enterprise of tractor production entered in its turn in largest Concern “Tractor plants” and for today we can easily speak that Cheboksary is the capital of Russian tractor-building.
During this visit President of the Concern “Tractor plants” Mikhail Bolotin personally showed to the vice-premiere and his officials with achieved technological and production capabilities and renovated model line produced by the holding’s enterprises. The delegation has been acquainted with the modern equipment, visited metal casting workshop equipped with the machines of world famous MAZAK corporation, and also visited the only in the country assembling workshop of heavy industrial tractors.
During the inspection vice-premier has been especially interested in implementation into the production processes of highest world technologies, in expansion of the model line of competitive native production and in working conditions of employees. In his comments to the journalists of leading Russian newspapers he noted: “We begin to produce such equipment that is bought not only by Russia, but many countries of the world. Today I saw at the conveyor line two tractors for Australia. How do you think is their many Russian high technology products are sold at the Australian market? Such examples are exclusive”.
During the demonstration of opportunities of Russian industrial tractors of “Chetra” trade-mark Sergey Ivanov personally tried out the technical opportunities of heavy bulldozer of new generation - Chetra H4, which will be put in batch production next year. According to the vice-premiere, earlier he had the opportunity to drive excavator Komatsu and in Russian Chetra equipment he has been surprised by easy hydraulics “as at the strategic missile carriers”.
“The main thing is that the enterprise and the Concern invest a lot in development of new high technological and competitive models of tractors - both industrial and agricultural tractors, and also they begin the car wagon activity, - noted in the end of his visit Sergey Ivanov. - And this is competitive and technological production”.
