OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2007. According to the data of the form of state department statistical monitoring over 2007 OJSC “Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation” collected US$ 46.0 Mio of reinsurance premium, which conforms to the results of previous year.

As before bulk of receipts falls on property reinsurance – 74.6% (US$ 34.3 Mio). Liability reinsurance share increase to 24% (US$ 11.0 Mio), receipts from reinsurance of personal accident are equal to 1.4% (0.63 Mio). OJSC “Transsibirean Re” concluded in 2007 4411 reinsurance contracts.

Total amount of reinsurance indemnity payments of “Transsib Re” for 2007 reduces comparably to the previous year by 30% and makes US$ 10.2 Mio. 96% of this sum falls to the indemnity, paid from property reinsurance contracts, under liability reinsurance contracts were collected 3,2% and the rest 0,8% were collected from reinsurance of personal accident.

During 2007 Transsib Re paid 1291 losses. Last year the ratio of payments on the portfolio on the average was at the level of 22.1% (in previous year – 32.9%).

According to the preliminary data, 39.9% of gross premium income in 2007 was received from Russian partners of "Transsibirean Re", and the major part of gross premium volume (60.1%) was received from abroad. The leading part of external incomes in gross-reinsurance is marked for the last years (74.6% in 2006; 67% in 2005). The corporation cooperates in reinsurance with companies from almost 30 countries all over the world.
