OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2007. Uralmash Machine-Building Corporation (MK Uralmash) almost tripled its production of cement equipment in 2007, as compared to 2006. The main customers of the MK Uralmash cement equipment are Mordovcement, Sebryakovcement, Eurocement-group, Siberian cement.

The plan for 2008 is to expand the production of cement equipment, particularly thanks to cooperation with foreign companies. A contract with the German KHD Humboldt Engineering, one of the world leaders in the sphere of cement equipment supplies and engineering, for the supply of a furnace housing was signed in November 2007.

As Vyachslav Sekachev, chief of cement equipment sales department, notes, "the market of cement equipment is growing and will continue to grow because of the building sector development. Today it's the most dynamically developing sector. That's why cement factories will need modernization and replacement of obsolete facilities, and the cement factories which are now under construction will need new equipment. So, within the nearest 10 to 15 years, the cement equipment produced by MK Uralmash will be in demand in this market sector."
