OREANDA-NEWS. On January 18, 2007 Kazakhtelecom JSC (Astana), shares of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) category "A" official list had provided KASE with the press-release of next contention, reported the press-centre of KASE:

As of January 1, 2008 in regional center of republic all applications for telephone sets' installation were satisfied for 100%.

For year 2007 Kazakhtelecom JSC was planning to install 290 th. 221 main telephone sets (MTS), actually were set 331 th. 735 MTS. Overfulfilment of the plan made 41 th. 514 MTS or 14%. Compared to similar period of year 2006 amount of installations increased by 81 th. 442 units and made 33% of growth.

By results of year 2007 331,735 bids were satisfied, from them to those in line since last years 126,446 MTS were installed, including in city telephone network - 100,866 telephones, village - 25,580. Stake of installations to those in line since last years form total amount of installations for year 2007 made 38%.

It should be noted that in the beginning of last year in the cities of regional meaning the number of unsatisfied bids for installations made 200,155. As of January 1, 2008 in the regional centers of republic all bids for installation were satisfied for 100%.

In cut of regions the results of given work look in next way. For year 2007 CTC Almatytelecom had made the major number of installations - 36,111. By given indicators the second place had taken Karagandy regional direction of telecommunications (RDT) with 34,099 installations, the third place - South-Kazakhstan RDT - 30,960.

At the same time, Karagandy RDT compared to other regional subsidiaries of Kazakhtelecom JSC had made the major number of installations to those in line since last years - 17,048 or 50% from total number of installations. High indicators were registered by results of year 2007 in South-Kazakhstan RDT - 11,916 or 38% and in East-Kazakhstan RDT - 11,677 or 43% from total number of installations.

It should be noted that given positive results were reached in result of introduction of system of "non-refusal servicing", realization of which in perspective have to provide 100%-ge satisfying of bids for telephone sets' installation, including of previous years.
