OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2007. The department of the Russian Antimonopoly Service (UFAS Russia) for the Belgorod region fined Neft-Aktiv RUR500,000 for the failure to observe the determination of the Russian Antimonopoly Service.

On April 27, 2007 the Russian Antimonopoly Service approved the application of the company to buy 100% of voting stocks of Belgorodnefteprodukt at an auction to sell property of YUKOS Oil Company and obliged the company not to prevent competition.

In line with Belgorodnefteproduct data as of November 7, 2007 prices for diesel fule climbed by RUR1 at filling plants owned by the company, that exceeded price under which sales of diesel fuel were made by 90 day earlier than the date of rise by 6.02%, more than by 5%.

However, Neft-Aktiv did not warn FAS on the price growth, press service of Belgorod UFAS of Russia said.
