OREANDA-NEWS. On January 18, 2007 Banca de Economii in common with Sport Media Association awarded the sportsmen’s of the year 2007 from the Republic of Moldova, reported the press-centre of Banca de Economii:

I Place - Igor Bour –Weightlifting European Champion;
II Place - Alexandru Pliuschin – Cycling World Champion;
III Place - Ion Luchianov – Bronze prize winner at the World competition between Universities  

In a solemn atmosphere, President of Banca de Economii, Grigore Gacikevici, handed over to winners Diplomas of Honor and Visa Cards with money prizes. Grigore Gacikevici, being a professional athlete, expressed his best wishes and lot of success to winners, pointing out “Banca de Economii is supporting Moldavian sportsmen’s and we would like to see our country’s flag raised up at every championship from all around the world!”

Best sport performers of the year 2007 have been nominated by the Sport Media Association from the Republic of Moldova.
