OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2007. Part of objects of the coil-preparatory workshop at “Koks” public corporation is put on water heating from the central boiler. New heating system is introduced on the stock-conveying system for coking plant №4-6, on the lower and upper parts of closed coal storehouse and some other objects of coal-preparatory workshop. This allowed to reduce steam intake and to eliminate the necessity of dry return. Moreover, water heating is safer and more reliable, than steam one. Equipment control is realized from the central boiler of boiler-house workshop. The whole work on the object was made by specialists of coal-preparatory workshop and SCRKO-1. Last winter water heating was tested in the section of wagon tripper. Transfer of the whole coil-preparatory workshop on the new heating system is planned for the next year.
