OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2007. Stroytransgaz has been awarded a contract to construct another section of the main oil pipeline Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean. The company has already begun work.

Mogot-Tynda will run 87 km and have a diameter of 1220 mm. The new section is located along the ESPO route between km 2522 and km 2620.

Stroytransgaz will build the linear part of the main oil pipeline, crossing the Baikal-Amur pipeline using a tunneling method and completing a double-submerged crossing of more than three km to traverse the Gilyuy River.
