OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2008. FEZ Gomel-Raton calculated results of foreign economic activity for 11 months of 2007, Gomel-Raton's press service reported. Export growth amounted to 160,5% and it is the most positive result in 2007. Another important result is that export of FEZ residents exceeded their import.

FEZ foreign trade volumes went 56,8% up, the production exports amounted to USD115.4 mln. Such outstanding results were achieved because many FEZ residents noticeably increased export of their production. First of all, among these are companies with foreign investments where average export growth is 174.5%. Some of them in 2007 multiplied their export 2-2.5 times.

However, enterprises of Belarussian economy also noticeably improved their positions with average export growth around 130.3%.
