OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2008. ASTARTA's HR service put forward an idea to create the company's Public Council, the company's press service informs. One of the main purposes of such body is to establish effective relations between employees and management, to support the corporate governance and its different aspects.The first meetings of the Public council took place in December, when a number of important questions were examined and the Public Council Statute was adopted. As well, a discussion of current questions concerning preparation to the celebration of company's 15 anniversary in 2008 was conducted and declared the creation of a corporate library and a Hall of Fame. Thus, ASTARTA's history, where information about Group's achievements and awards will be exhibited. Another suggestion was creation of ASTARTA's intranet site that would help not only to arrange effective communications in the head office, but also socializing with remote regional subdivisions.
