On January 16, 2007 Kazkommerts Invest JSC (Almaty), bonds of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) category "A" official list, had provided KASE with the press-release in which is informed about selling of 60%-ge stake in project for construction of cement plant in Zhambyl region to French company Vicat Group, reported the press-centre of KASE.

According to press-release the power of plant makes 1,1 m. tons of cement a year with possibility of further increase to 2 m. tons. Cost of joint project exceeds $200 m. Term of building of plant makes about 2 years, launching of plant is expected preliminary in year 2010. building of plant will be executed on the largest limestone field in Kazakhstan - Mynaral.
