Belarus Increases Capacities of National Fund of Technical Legal Acts
OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2007. In line with Council of Ministers’ resolution #16, the National Fund of Technical Legal Acts in the Field of Technical Rate Setting and Standardization has been renamed into the National Fund of Technical Legal Acts. The resolution was adopted in line with decree #318 of July 16, 2007, reported the Official website www.government.by.
The National Fund will include all technical legal acts of Belarus. The united information centre will contain not only the documents dealing with technical rate setting and standardization but also sanitary standards and rules, fire safety standards, veterinary rules and others.
The National Fund of Technical Legal Acts is the systematized fund of documents (paper mediums and PC database). Its goal is to provide legal and natural persons with full, trustworthy and up-to-date information about technical legal acts, to assist in using the up-to-date achievements of science and technology in the sphere of technical rate setting and standardization.
The National Fund of Technical Legal Acts is the state information resource supervised by the Belarusian State Standard Committee. Technical maintenance is provided by the scientific-Production National Unitary Company “Belarusian State Institute of Standardization and Certification”.
The fund contains technical legal acts, technical regulations, standing practice technical codes, state standards, aircraft rules, animal sanitation, veterinary, veterinary-sanitary standards and rules, methodology, various instructions and other documents. The total number of the legal acts is around 180 thousand copies.
