OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2008. In November 2008, in Rome (Italy), the regular 22nd World Congress of the International Project Management Association (IPMA) will take place. Delegates of all member countries of IPMA were invited to take part in it.

JSC IDGC of the Center will speak at the given congress as a branch representative of SOVNET Russian Project Management Association in a number of nominations. The company will be represented by the General Director of JSC IDGC of the Center Evgeny Makarov, Director for organizational development of JSC IDGC of the Center Dmitry Alyoshin, Experts of the Center of design and process management of IDGC. All of them will act with reports on successful introduction of the project process management in IDGC of the Center.

"For today JSC IDGC of the Center is one of few companies of the power sector which introduces a root matrix that is a project process control system," Dmitry Alyoshin, Director for organizational development of JSC IDGC of the Center says. "Therefore, it is extremely important to us to learn experience of other companies successfully realizing the design approach in management. Concerning this participation, the meetings of such a level are very useful."

But it is not less important also to demonstrate our developments in the field of project management. The Company has the Managerial Council for Strategy and Transformations today. Being under its supervision, this year the portfolio of more than 50 projects is being realized including the scale program “Reforming of JSC IDGC of the Center” including 12 projects. During reforming and transition to the uniform operational company, the system of project management becomes very acute and demanded as it allows to solve strategic problems global enough using the minimal resources."
