OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2008. From January 15, 2008, Beeline subscribers are permitted to use information service of Southern Telecommunications Company all over its service area through access number 08109, the UTK press service reports.

UTK has been providing information services to cellular subscribers  for more than one year: to Megafon-Kavkaz and MTS subscribers first in the Krasnodar kray, Rostov region and Adygeia Republic and then in the Volgograd and Astrakhan regions. Access number to UTK’s information service for Megafon subscribers is 0908, for MTS subscribers – 0513.

Apart from the three largest mobile operators, UTK’s information service is available for Tele2 subscribers in Rostov through access number 009 and Smarts subscribers in the Astrakhan region through access number 109.

As cellular subscribers’ calls are billed on a per-minute basis, they have a priority in service as against subscribers of traditional telephony. Seasonal weakening of construction influenced the demand for construction products (long products, galvanized steel, colour-coated steel and pipes) which led to slight decrease in prices for these product types in Q4 compared to Q3.
