OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2007. With the view to train specialists and highly qualified scientific workers for national economy, to apply scientific and technical advances to practice, to achieve the goals of the national development programmes the President of Turkmenistan issued the special Resolution. The Turkmen leader approved the regulations on training scientific workers in Turkmenistan; on clinical studies; on scientific contests. The Resolution approves the list of admittance to postgraduate schools and institutions of doctoral candidacy by the scientific specialties in 2008; the list of admittance to clinical studies in 2008 and the uniform list of scientific degrees and scientific titles.

The Supreme Council for Science and Technology under President of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan are authorized to conduct the activity to open postgraduate schools, institutions of doctoral candidacy and clinical studies respectively within the one-month period. The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is authorized to design the curricular of comprehensive examinations for the Candidate's degree. The Ministry of Economy and Finance of Turkmenistan is authorized to introduce the amendments to the State Budget of Turkmenistan evolving this Resolution.
