OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2007. “Tulachermet” public corporation considers proposition from the German company “Kalderis” – one of the biggest in the world in production of unshaped refractories – to take part in the forthcoming third-class thorough repairs of the blast-furnace №1. In “Tulachermet” public corporation the blast-furnace №1 will be stopped for 18 days third-class thorough repairs in February. The purpose of visiting the enterprise by German specialists – discussion of the possibility to supply refractory products, manufactured by “Kalderis”, for mine lining of the blast furnace 1 with refractory bricks. In the course of meeting a technical-commercial proposition from the German company was presented to “Tulachermet” public corporation. In the present time “Tulachermet” public corporation considers the possibility of usage of protective materials for balst-furnace №1 from several suppliers.
