OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2007. UkrGazEnergo to import to Ukraine about 55 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2008, company reported. At the end of 2007 the company made agreements on gas deliveries till 2012 with more than 200 Ukrainian consumers. "Our company will fulfil all of its delivering obligations," - UkrGazEnergo said.

In October 2006 UkrGazEnergo and RosUkrEnergo AG signed an addendum to the contract on the gas sale, according to which the joint venture should firmly receive no less than 55 billion cubic meters of gas from Central Asia in 2007. In 2006 the total amount of natural gas imported by UkrGazEnergo reached 34 billion cubic meters. The industrial consumers in Ukraine received 14 billion cubic meters.
