Ukio Bankas Introduces Special Offers to the Seniors
OREANDA-NEWS. On January 10, 2007 Ukio bankas introduced a programme of special offers to the seniors Advantages of the Age, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.
The Programme’s participants will be offered banking solutions helping them to save money and will not be charged commission when paying for utility services, i. e. gas, water and electricity supply until the end of this year. When paying by a payment card or making a transfer from Ukio bankas account they will enjoy special prices for other payments, i. e. from 1 LTL per payment. The seniors will have the chance to benefit from all the advantages of Ukio bankas programme upon the transfer of their pensions to payment cards or accounts with Ukio bankas.
Reduced fees will be applied to the seniors who transfer their pensions to Ukio bankas account or payment card until Easter, i. e. 21 March 2008. The Bank will regularly offer 0,1 percent higher interest on deposits to the Advantages of the Age programme participants and will grant the possibility to them to acquire a payment card Maestro for free.
“When introducing the programme Advantages of the Age we offer the seniors to use quality banking services under favourable conditions and at the same time grant the possibility to save money, which is especially relevant to senior people. In the future Ukio bankas has the plan to supplement this programme with other special offers to the seniors,” Balanda Bradulskiene, director of Ukio bankas Product Development Department, said.
As maintained by Mrs. B. Bradulskiene, Ukio bankas programme also covers the seriors whose pensions have already been transferred to Ukio bankas account. “All programme’s offers and fees are applicable to them. The Bank does not charge any fee for pension transfer, pension withdrawal at the Bank’s cash desks is also free of charge and the amount is not limited,” Ukio bankas Product Development Department director explained.
Grazina Balandyte, actress of Kaunas State Drama Theatre having joined this programme, noted that the seniors were often forgotten by business institutions, which direct their attention to richer clients. “I agreed to join Ukio bankas initiative, which, I believe, will make the seniors’ daily life happier and easier. I believe that Ukio bankas will become a reliable financial partner of many people having attained the elegant age,” Kaunas Drama State Theatre actress said.
All the seniors having joined the Advantages of the Age programme will have the chance to withdraw cash free of charge at Ukio bankas, Sampo-Nordea ATMs and at cash desks of Ukio bankas.
