In 2007, the production branches of JSC OGK-5 produced 38.4 billion kWh of power (94.9% as compared to the similar period of 2006), the company's press service reported. Heat output by the production affiliates of JSC OGK-5 totaled 6.8 million GCal in 2007 (96.6% as compared to the similar period of 2006).OGK-5’s power output to the wholesale market amounted to 36.3 billion kWh in 2007. 33 billion kWh were sold under regulated bilateral contracts (RBCs), including 3.9 billion kWh purchased on the free market to cover RBC obligations and own needs, at the price lower than the tariff set by the Federal Tariff Service of Russia.

The turnover on the day-ahead market (DAM) totaled 11.9 billion kWh, or 6.8 billion RUB, including 3.5 billion kWh related to free bilateral contracts (FBCs). The balancing market (BM) turnover over the same period totaled 3.1 billion kWh, or 1.7 billion RUB.
