OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2008. Melitopol Engine Plant has started production of advanced semitrailers НХ2210-10, the company's press service reports. First of all, it was caused by an enlarged model range of vehicles produced by CJSC "ZAZ".

Previous construction of semitrailer НХ 2210 was designed for transportation of the most popular models of CJSC "ZAZ" namely Tavria, Slavuta, Lanos and Sens. But when Chevrolet Aveo-2 models and Chevrolet Epica and Opel Astra sedan models entered the market and also when model range of CHERY vehicles appeared it became necessary to reconsider loading dimensions of semitrailer. CJSC "ZAZ" specialists have changed the construction of upper and lower stage, implemented elongated wheel axes, installed tires of reduced width (279 instead of 315 mm), made a whole series of design changes in production parts.

All these activities allowed increasing passage width of upper and lower stage up to 1900 mm and height in the middle part of construction up to 1750 mm, which made it possible to carry vehicles of "off-road" and "minivan" class. Attachable access board widened up to 310 mm and long-stroke pneumatic suspension which allows lowering or lifting the semitrailer's platform to ensure convenience of loading.
