OREANDA-NEWS. January 10, 2008. In late December 2007, Koryazhma Branch of Ilim Group completed the second compliance audit of its management system in the area of professional security and occupational safety, in accordance with the requirements of OHSAS 18001:1999, the press service of Ilim Group repoted. The audit showed that the system complies with all the standard’s requirements and renewed its international certificate for another year.

The audit proved that the branch’s management of professional security is in operating condition and continues developing. The auditors named high competence of the staff, and the interest of the management in developing the certification as the system’s strong points.

The final report says that all the documented procedures are designed to be available for the staff, which enables each worker to get the knowledge of professional security and occupational safety requirements.

The next stage of the system’s development is its integration into the general certification system of quality and environment management.
