OREANDA-NEWS. On January 09, 2007 Kazkommertsbank JSC (Almaty), being the listing company of Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), had spread the press-release of following contention, reported the press-centre of KASE:

January 8, 2008 - Kazkommertsbank informs about registration on December 27, 2007 of new united license #48 for conduction of banking and other operations and activity on securities' market.

The new license was given by Agency for financial supervision in accordance with Law of Republic of Kazakhstan # 222-III dated January 12, 07 "About inclusion of amends to some legal norms of Republic of Kazakhstan about licensing" and resolution of Board of Republic of Kazakhstan for regulating and supervision over financial market and organizations dated November 30, 07 # 262 "About registration of licenses for conduction of banking and other operations, executed by banks in national and foreign currency, excluding separate types of banking operations in accordance with legislation of Republic of Kazakhstan".

In this connection from new united license were excluded such types of banking operations like:

- interbanks' clearing: gathering, revising, sorting and confirmation of payments, and also conducting of mutual reckoning and determination of net positions of clearing' participants - banks and organizations, maintaining separate types of banking operations;

- issuing of payment cards.

At the same time to the united license of Kazkommertsbank were included such types of activities on securities' market, like:

- broker and dealer activities on securities' market with right of clients' accounts maintenance as nominal holder;

- custodial activity.

The new license was given to Bank instead of:

- License for conduction of banking and other operations, executed by banks in national and foreign currency # 48 dated January 27, 2006;

- Separate license for broker and dealer activities on market of securities with right for maintenance of clients' accounts as nominal holder # 0401100672 dated January 29, 2004;

- Separate license for custodial activities # 0407100205 dated January 29, 2004,

These licenses were return by the Bank for Agency for financial supervision.

Receiving of new license won't influence on list of banking services, provided by the Bank to its clients, because the Bank will deal with interbanks' clearing and issuing of payment cards on the basis of eight article of law "About banks and banking activities in Republic of Kazakhstan".
