MTT Launches Virtual Calling Card Service
OREANDA-NEWS. January 10, 2008. MTT, an international and domestic long-distance telecommunications operator in Russia, started commercial operation of ‘MTT Virtual Calling Card’ throughout Russia, the press service of the company reported. This service used to be provided only in Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg and Khabarovsk. However, now ‘MTT Virtual Calling Card’ user is able to make international and long-distance calls through MTT network in entire Russia. A call can be made from any telephone, regardless the operator serving the calls made from this telephone. A telephone set should have tone dialing. Alongside with service rendering expansion, MTT announces rate reduction for domestic long-distance and international calls made via ‘MTT Virtual Calling Card’ by 15% at an average.
