OREANDA-NEWS. January 9, 2008. Civil and erection works at 517-mWh Sumgayit steam-gas installation (SGI) the basis of which is incorporated by President of Republic are basically completed. 

Above-stated SGI is called to strengthen safety and power supply of Sumgayit and Absheron peninsula.
According to the information received by press-service of joint-stock company "Azerenerji" from the power station the start to works of complex testing on the basic and auxiliary systems of station is given.

Let's note that, works on accomodation-testing of cooling system of fuel maintenance are completed.  
With the purpose of testing of operation and operational level of basic technical equipment organizes in parallel working group made of experts of "SIEMENS" and joint-stock company "Azerenerji". 
One of these days the preparation of structure of customers and testing works with the participation of each of groups will be carried out.  

According to the source, the spadework of thermal mechanical equipment are carried out according to the practice of successful use and introduction to usage of 220/110-kWh substations.
