OREANDA-NEWS. January 09, 2007. On the base of the International University of Kyrgyzstan students played an intellectual game “What? Where? When?” 40 erudite persons, all of them were students of the leading Universities of Bishkek, took part in the game, reported the press-centre of AsiaUniversalBank.

The game was organized according to the rules of the well-known TV show “What? Where? When?” The above students-connoisseurs answered complicated questions in the sphere of philosophy, culturology, psychology and other sciences. This intellectual student game was carried out for the first time. AsiaUniversalBank rendered its financial support to the activity.

After an hour and a half battle of erudition and sharpness the winners got the prize places as follows: the 3rd place won the students of the IUK, the 2nd place got the team of KSPU after Arabayev, and the team of KNU after Balasagyn gained the lead. All the teams-winners were given Honorary Citations and prizes worthy of real erudite persons - books and textbooks.

Representatives of different University Administrations were on the competent jury. Summing up the game, the jury mentioned a high level of the students’ knowledge.

Support of higher education and youth is an integral part of AUB’s sponsoring programs. The Bank uses different ways of support of youth. First of all, they are AsiaUniversalBank’s nominal scholarships which have been granted to best young economists twice a year for eight years. Then, it is a financial support of many bright student projects, such as SIFE and Comedy Club.
