OREANDA-NEWS. January 09, 2007. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) closed a case against the "Russian Railways" Open Joint-Stock Company ("RZhD" OJSC) as the company voluntarily eliminated the antimonopoly violations, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The case against "RZhD" OJSC was initiated upon a petition of "Bogotolsky Car Repair Plant" Ltd. that "RZhD" OJSC had breached Part 1 10 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition".

The company complained to the antimonopoly authority that "RZhD" unjustly banned the use of products of "Bogotolsky Car Repair Plant" Ltd. on the tracks of the Krasnoyark Railway - a branch of "RZhD" OJSC.

Having considered the case, FAS Russia closed the case as "RZhD" OJSC voluntary eliminated the antimonopoly violations by raising the ban.
