Bank Respublika Increases Credit Card Grace Period
OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2007.Bank Respublika has increased its credit card grace period from 35 to 45 days.
Under the new conditions, no interest will accrue on the amount credited to a credit card user when the bill is paid before the 15th calendar day of the next month, effectively extending the interest-free grace period to 45 days.
Where the credit card bill has not been paid the 15th calendar day of the next month, an interest of 28% per annum will accrue on the credit amount. The new terms and conditions come into effect on January 1st, 2008.
Upon presentation of an appropriate employer’s reference, credit card lines from Bank Respublika are available to people who have been in their current employment for at least six months and have a monthly salary of at least AZN 200 (after taxation). Security and a guarantor are not required. Credit lines for sums ranging from 200 to 5,000 AZN, USD or EUR are available under this program. Bank Respublika also offers credit lines to depositors, as well as holders of car and business loans.
Bank Respublika offers international MasterCard and VISA cards free of charge, with no annual service commission, as well as Home-Banking, Card-to-Card and other services to bank card users. The Bank also holds regular winning campaigns for its cardholders. The first prize is a 7-day foreign trip abroad for two, as well as other prizes.
