Parliamentary elections’ results and launch of the President Election campaign have essentially corrected the influence of the players of the 100 leading Russian politicians December rating which was traditionally published in “Nezavisimaya Gazeta”. Vladimir Putin traditionally tops the list, Dmitry Medvedev is the second best.

The final rating is a consolidated appraisal of 100 Russian politicians’ authority estimated by the leaders of the Russian expert community. The persons are classified in rating by sections: “very strong authority” (1-20), “strong authority” (21-50), “moderate authority” (51-100).
